Brainteaser
Many of us appreciate the need and benefit of physical exercise, but how intentional are we about exercising our minds? Just as our bodies need physical activities, our brain also must be exercised regularly for optimal.
What is mental exercise, and why is it important.
Mental exercise, also known as brain training, is the use of structured cognitive activities to help improve specific brain functions. Brainteasers, such as crosswords, puzzles, Rubik cube and sudoku help challenge you mentally and keeps your brain active.
The neuroplasticity of the brain means that it can change continuously over the course of a person’s lifetime. By exposing our brain regularly to activities that challenge its normal state of thinking, we are enhancing our mental fitness and encouraging our minds to stay sharp.
