Our Fire Door Inspection Course is a City & Guilds Accredited Programme. The course addresses the importance of different types of fire doors and their installation. Furthermore, the course explores several components, including door closers, hinges, and door hardware. Additionally, this training also features practical examples of fire door inspections to help reinforce the key learning points that can be implemented in real-life scenarios.
Our training centre in South Yorkshire has a specially built fire door training rig allowing the best hands-on experience to complement the best-in-class expert training provided by our experienced trainers. All key fire legislation is covered in this course including the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety Order) 2005, Fire Safety Order May 2021, and the amendments in Article 10 (23rd August 2022).
All successful delegates gain a City & Guilds Accredited Programme Certificate for Fire Door Inspections, which is valid for 3 years.

Upon successfully completing our HXT-F05 Fire Door Inspection Course, delegates will receive a City & Guilds Accredited Programme Certificate in Fire Door Inspection.
The certificate is valid for 3 years from the date of completion and you should receive an electronic copy within 7 working days from course completion.
Can I install fire doors after completing the Fire Door Inspection Course?
This HXT-F05 Fire Door Inspection Training Course, whilst covering the importance of different doors and their installation, doesn’t cover how to install fire doors.
Can I certify a fire door after attending this course?
Our HXT-F05 Fire Door Inspection course doesn’t cover the initial inspection and sign-off of a newly installed fire door.
This course covers basic inspection to ensure fire doors are still compliant and fulfill the criteria of the Risk Assessment.
