Why is it essential to take Fire Door Inspection Training?

The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 states that it is a legal requirement that fire doors should be inspected regularly. Therefore, the appointed responsible persons should have a full understanding of their role; as well as a comprehensive knowledge of up-to-date regulations and standards.

The responsible person must ensure doors are installed correctly. Fire door maintenance and fire risk assessments are crucial to sustain safety in any building. Unfortunately, inspections do not take place regularly due to lack of appropriate training. However, delegates attending this course are assured to leave with the competence and confidence to carry out on-site inspections.
