This City & Guilds Accredited HV Authorised Person Training Course is a comprehensive 10-day program designed for those working with high voltage (HV) systems in the healthcare sector.
This training course is specifically designed for staff who are appointed as Authorised Persons (Electrical), responsible for managing High Voltage (HV) distribution equipment within the healthcare sector. During this Healthcare High Voltage (Authorised Person) Course, delegates will develop an understanding of working with high-voltage electrical systems, learn how to issue safety documentation and ensure compliance with HSE’s current legislation. Additionally, they will be trained to follow the HTM06-03 (HV) safety rules and procedures.
A high voltage authorised person will be able to complete their duties to the requirements of:
- Health Technical Memorandum 06-02
- Electricity at Work Regulations 1989
- HSG85 Safe Working Practices and to satisfy any NHS compliance
- Health and Safety Executive’s Safe Working Practices
- Where applicable, your company’s own Safety Rules
