Bristol Airport Onsite Delivery Case Study

Background

Hydro-X has been working very closely with Bristol Airport client most notably since our business development manager Yasmeen Bashir began to organise training with their Engineering Manager. The client’s airport Engineering team is responsible for all hard facilities management (FM) tasks, and they manage this all internally.

The Challenge

The challenge set was to meet an ongoing and growing training matrix that covered a broad range of disciplines under the engineering remit.

The Airport required training specifically at their site to ensure the team was working towards relatable standards within the airport.

The Solution

As a solution, Hydro-X Training proposed onsite training to keep costs down. Alongside this, we started off with onsite Legionella Responsible Person training as a taster for what our team can deliver.

With such a broad range of responsibilities within the airport, Yasmeen then worked directly with them to oversee the entire training matrix for on-site delivery.

Value Added

Since starting with the Airport we have delivered over 90 courses for their engineering team. From IOSH Working & Managing Safely, NEBOSH, and Legionella to Fire Dampers, Confined Space, and Low Voltage training, their team has really utilised our portfolio to ensure compliance across the board.

Notably, we have enjoyed great success with them on Confined Space.

Airport Onsite Delivery Case Study

Initially, we worked with them in a consultancy capacity to provide a Confined Space Risk Assessment. From this, our team identified the need for a risk register, along with Low-Risk Confined Space training for their team. Working closely with the Engineering Manager we were able to meet timescales effectively and produce everything they required to the standards they expected.

This in turn led to further on-site training and we continue to see the relationship grow between us.
