With our specialist, purpose-built RPZ based in our HQ Building in Sheffield, this 3-Day Water Type BA RPZ covers everything that allows a delegate to leave with the confidence to be to Install, Commission, and Test a Reduced Pressure Valve. This City & Guilds Accredited Course covers all the regulations set by WaterRegs UK, Water undertakers, and The Water Supply (Water Fitting) regulations for the UK. There is a significant practical piece, where different testing methods, commission, fault finding, and AIM 08-01 are covered.
This course is an approved and Recognised External Services water regulations knowledge certificate to allow a successful delegate to apply to be an approved contractor with WIAPS and other water boards that offer them schemes.
Our HXT-W18 training course for swimming pools. leisure pools and hydrotherapy pools is a 1-day virtual classroom course designed to cover the associated waterborne pathogens, legal requirements, and management skills where health and safety are concerned. It is an accredited City & Guilds programme and covers a range of modules which include medical aspects, obligations & implications of managing pool systems, pool pollution, treatment of water, and sampling. This is a 1-day open course (or 3.5 hours if done virtually) that has been designed for any personnel that works with hot and cold water systems, or in the disinfection of domestic systems. This City & Guilds Accredited course covers different methods of effective disinfection, including pasteurisation and using Silver Hydrogen Peroxide, amongst others. As part of this course, delegates will cover the legislation and guidance surrounding disinfection and will look at the practical steps involved in carrying out safe and effective disinfection.
Our Groundworker Regulations Training is available as an on-site course or as an open classroom at either our HQ in Sheffield or one of our other training venues. This course is aimed at contractors that work with water pipework and water supplies stop-tap to stop-tap. This course is an Accredited Programme from City & Guilds and covers all the required regulations and Water Byelaws set out by WaterRegs UK, and how to prevent cross-connection and backflow.
This course is an approved and Recognised External Services water regulations knowledge certificate to allow a successful delegate to apply to we an approved contractor with WIAPS and other water boards that offer there on schemes.
We provide a 1-day course on the monitoring, installation, commission, and maintenance of TMV valves. This course has been developed to give delegates confidence and knowledge surrounding different types of TMV and TMT mechanisms. This City & Guilds Accredited course covers background knowledge of Legionella and the risks that TMVs pose, the common faults of TMVs, and the guidance and legislation. Delegates will also get an understanding of the commission process and learn about the BuildCert Scheme. We offer this course as Virtual Package, Open Classroom or onsite
