Management of Safe Water in Healthcare Premises Training Course
This management of safe water course is designed for personnel who are involved in the management of water systems in healthcare premises and is the ideal course for those who are named responsible persons or part of the water safety group (Responsible, Authorised or Competent Person).
This course is 2 days as an open classroom course and covers compliance of healthcare premises and governance responsibility as well as Legionella and Pseudomonas bacteria testing, flushing, and sampling. This course also covers operational management and considerations. contamination and documentation.

Safe Water in Healthcare: Competent Person
This a 2-day training course that covers legislation and guidance including the HTM 04-01 Parts A-C and D08 – TMVS, Acop L8 & HSG274 Part 2. This course is suitable for housekeepers, maintenance staff, contractors, and personnel working in infection control. Knowledge of good water hygiene and correct sampling techniques is covered in this course.
Authorised Person: Water
Authorised person for Water in Healthcare is ideal for anyone who has been nominated or appointed as an Authorised Person. This 5-day training course covers compliance of NHS guidance HTM04-01 (SHTM Part G), risk assessments and documentation required, roles and responsibilities of different personnel, and looking at the Water Safety Group.
