Morrisons Supermarket Leading & Managing Safely
Background
Morrisons are the UK’s 4th largest supermarket chain with a history spanning over 100 years. They are a proud Yorkshire food retailer serving customers across the UK through a network of 497 conveniently located supermarkets and various online home delivery channels. Alongside this, Morrisons operates 7 logistics sites and 18 manufacturing sites where they produce their own products.
The Challenge
Morrisons started working with Hydro-X in 2022 due to being let down and disappointed by the service they were receiving from their old training providers.
From operations within both their logistics and manufacturing sites to the management team, there were a range of key Health & Safety compliance requirements which needed to be met by a specific date.
The Solution
Hydro-X Training was successfully able to support both the operations and management team in proposing and delivering a number of IOSH courses, including Managing Safely and Leading Safely alongside PAT Testing and Legionella Awareness training. To date, Hydro-X Training has trained 88 of the requested 138 personnel within the team including Operations and Management staff.
