Lorna Desbro Joins Hydro-X Water’s Account Management Team

We are delighted to shine a light on Lorna Desbro who has this month taken the leap and progressed through the business into Account Management.
Lorna has been with the business since midway through 2022 and initially joined the business as a Scheduler for the Northern Operations team.
Earlier this month Lorna officially joined up with her new Yorkshire Account Management team and she took some time out to highlight her development during her time at Hydro-X Water.
When did you start at Hydro-X and what positions have you held?
I started Hydro-X in July 2022 as the Northern operations scheduler.
What made you decide to move over to Account Management with Hydro-X Water?
I decided to move over to account management to progress and further my career within Hydro-X. I wanted to challenge myself and learn new skills as I have thoroughly enjoyed learning the ropes of the water industry and I am eager to learn more.
What will you bring to your new role within the business?
I am an excellent communicator and hope to develop and maintain strong relationships with everyone. I have a strong work ethic and determination to be successful in everything I do.
How are you finding the role within the Yorkshire team since starting at the beginning of February?
I have enjoyed meeting the Yorkshire team and immediately feeling welcomed and supported by them. I am eager to keep expanding my networks within the area and providing great services to all new & existing customers.
What do you enjoy about working for Hydro-X Water?
Hydro-X supports everyone and provides a ‘family’ like environment to ensure everyone feels comfortable and supported. I feel that my hard work and dedication has been recognised and I have been rewarded through my career progression. From my time at the company, I have seen them support and help grow multiple individual’s careers.
