People are at the heart of what we do, and we are strongly committed to risk reduction for our employees, suppliers, customers and their customers.
We continue to invest in the development of our employees, and we are proud of our apprenticeship and graduate schemes that provide fulfilling and rewarding career opportunities for the next generation.
Hydro-X is committed to investing and developing people in the local community. Our apprenticeship programme has been running for three years now. One of our recent success stories is of Kennedy, who joined as an Apprentice Compliance Administrator, progressed to a Trainee Water Hygiene Engineer and is now a trained Water Hygiene Engineer.
We recognise that we are embedded in our local community and feel privileged to be able to partner with some outstanding charities in our local area. The positive contribution which they make to the lives of many families, both within the local community and around the world, is truly amazing.

Contributing to the care for the environment is crucial to us all, and Hydro-X recognises that its activities have an impact at local, regional and global levels. We always ensure that our operations follow the relevant environmental regulations, laws and codes of practice, and we work to exceed these standards wherever possible. As an organisation, we are continuously looking for better and more efficient ways to be environmentally friendly, as well as helping our customers employ better sustainable practices.
Some of the ways we achieve this is by:
- Reducing the creation of waste by avoiding the use of unnecessary packaging
- Reusing pallets IBCs and drums whenever possible
- Recycling items whenever possible
- Educating stakeholders to be continually aware of and strive to improve the environmental impact of our various activities
