Authorised Person Ventilation Course Information
Be introduced to necessary documentation and publications for framework governance for MVS:
- By the end of the course delegates will be able to identify appropriate available and frequently accessed documention.
- Delegates will also recognise the need to hold and produce certain types to State Actors
Delegates will learn certain elements of human behaviour and how knowing that people respond differently to different stimuli.
- As part of this learning objective, delegates will be able to demonstrate an awareness of there own governing principles, processing capability and drivers, whilst understanding the fact that other peoples might be different.
- Delegates will do some classroom exercises, and will be able to demonstrate some rudimentary Management Techniques
Be introduced to basic physics associated with Air, such as pressure, temperature and volume flow rate, to indicate its make-up and behaviour under certain environment conditions.
- During this course delegates will be able to show how to access, using a number of data pieces, an environmental volumes, both in current and required states.
Delegates will be also be introduced through the medium of fluid mechanics. Covering what makes a fluid a fluid, how its composed and the type of fluid influences system design
- At the end of this training delegates will be be able to show that they can distinguish between laminar and turbulent flow regimens, intensive and extensive fluid properties
- Delegates will also be able to demonstrate a working understanding of some of the more commonly applied formulae
Delegates on this course will be shown the context of how the technical, documentary and managerial data comes together in the healthcare or appropriate industrial sector.
- At the end of this ventilation course delegates will be able to demonstrate familiarity with appropriate and relevant system taxonomy and associated key values.
Delegates will get reminded on the obligations under the Healthy and Safety At Work (1974), and associated Statutory instruments
- As part of this course delegates will be able to demonstrate their statutory and mandatory obligations whilst in the role of being an authorised person in ventilation
- Gain knowledge on how to compile and maintain an Asset Register

Delegates will demonstrate their understanding with a mixture of written tests or a viva voce examination.
An Authorised Person Mechanical Certificate will be provided upon successful completion.
