PLEASE READ BEFORE REGISTERING FOR THIS COURSE IF YOU HAVE EVAPORATIVE COOLING SYSTEMS

For those managing Cooling Towers or Evaporative Systems on-site, achieving your City & Guilds Accredited Certificate in Legionella Responsible Person: Hot & Cold Water Systems with Cooling Towers requires completing both our foundational HXT-W02 Legionella Responsible Person course FIRST, followed by the W03 Legionella Responsible Person with Cooling Towers top-up course.

Legionella Responsible Person Virtual Training with Cooling Towers

This course meets the ACoP L8 requirements for the role of the Responsible Person in managing legionella bacteria in hot and cold water systems, including those with cooling towers. It provides an in-depth overview of legal responsibilities related to legionella management, covering evaluation, monitoring, and compliance options essential for conducting effective Legionella risk assessments. Participants will also gain insight into inadequate legionella control’s moral, legal, and financial consequences.

A final assessment ensures that delegates leave the Legionella Responsible Person Virtual Training fully prepared to perform their duties effectively as service providers

This course is delivered through our interactive virtual web conference platform, where expert trainers lead live sessions and address delegates’ questions in real-time. Virtual training offers enhanced flexibility by allowing delegates to participate from any location, eliminating the need to travel to a training center. This format reduces the time commitment while maintaining the same high quality as our in-person courses. Upon successful completion, delegates will receive a City & Guilds Accredited Programme Certificate.

About Legionella Responsible Person Training

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) provides specific guidance (ACoP L8 and HSG 274) emphasizing that insufficient Legionella training is a significant factor in outbreaks and in effectively managing water system risks. This two-day Legionella Responsible Person Training Course with Cooling Systems is an extension of our standard Legionella Responsible Person HXT-02 course, dedicating the second day to addressing high-risk systems, such as Evaporative Cooling Towers.

If your facility includes these systems, completing this extended course is required over the one-day option. This City & Guilds Accredited course is delivered online through two live sessions: one 3.5-hour session and a follow-up 2.5-hour session.
