Spotlight On The Regulations

At the beginning of October, we made you aware of new fire safety updates, specifically relating to Section 156 that are now being enforced under the Building Safety Act 2022.

Ensure you are aware of the related duties that apply to you if you are the Responsible Person for any building regulated by the Fire Safety Order.

🔜 Comprehensive documentation of fire risk assessments and fire safety plans is now mandatory, irrespective of the scale or function of the business or location.

🔜 In establishments where multiple individuals hold responsibility, there are heightened expectations for collaboration and synchronization among those responsible.

🔜Within residential complexes featuring two or more individual living units (such as apartment buildings), the accountable property owner is obligated to furnish residents with details regarding fire hazards within the structure and the safety measures in place to protect them.
