Written Scheme Writing for Domestic Premises Training Course

Our 1-day classroom-based Written Scheme Writing Virtual Training Course equips learners with the knowledge and skills to design, write, and implement a written scheme for domestic premises.

This City & Guilds Accredited Programme is tailored for duty holders, Legionella Responsible Persons, or other competent individuals tasked with implementing a written scheme following a thorough risk assessment.

Under the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, it is mandatory to establish suitable arrangements to manage health and safety risks. While a risk assessment identifies potential hazards, a written scheme defines the control measures and provides essential evidence of their implementation.

This course is delivered through HX Training’s specialist virtual classroom. Delegates receive the same high-quality City & Guilds Accredited training as in-person sessions, without the need to travel to a training centre.

The live format enables real-time interaction with trainers, allowing delegates to ask questions and receive immediate answers. Virtual training is a cost-effective solution that reduces disruptions and eliminates travel requirements, benefiting delegates and employers.

This City & Guilds Accredited training course is structured around three key learning objectives:

The objective includes discussions on agreeing upon the scope and purpose of a written scheme, as well as constructing action and reaction plans. This stage emphasizes the critical need for thorough planning to ensure the effective implementation of control documents and plans.

2. Writing Stage

Learners delve into the creation and implementation of the written scheme of control. Key topics include identifying required elements, considering practical implementation, and assigning responsibilities and timeframes. This stage equips learners with the knowledge and skills to craft a comprehensive and effective written scheme.
